Anesthesia Technician

Essential Anesthesia Management is seeking a highly skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team of medical professionals. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Anesthesia Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up, operate, and maintain anesthesia equipment according to hospital standards and regulations.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare and check anesthesia equipment prior to use, and assist in the preparation of patients for anesthesia, including placing patient monitors and positioning.
- Assistance during Anesthesia Delivery: Assist with various tasks during anesthesia delivery according to the instructions of the anesthesiologist and CRNAs.
- Anesthesia Equipment Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and performing safety checks.
- Education and Experience: Associate degree in Anesthesia Technology or prior Anesthesia Technology experience.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and basic anatomy, ability to lift and move heavy medical equipment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred Qualifications: Background in a hospital setting, preferred experience as an anesthesia tech, and certification as a Certified Anesthesia Technician (CAT) from the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT).
