Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the emotional, educational, and recreational needs of hospitalized patients and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance the quality of patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Prepare children for hospitalization, clinic visits, surgeries, and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide education and support to patients, caregivers, families, and the general public.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Child Life Specialist required.
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis on human growth and development, education, psychology, or a related field of study preferred.
  • Certified Child Life Specialist required.
