Job Title: Refrigeration Technician Lead

CCG Business Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide maintenance support to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
  • Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
  • Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience.
  • PSM Experience is preferred.
  • Refrigeration experience is preferred.
  • Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems with an in-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls is preferred.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation.
  • Effective communication and basic math skills required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. occasionally; ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Ability to stand on a hard surface for up to 12 hours per day.
  • Ability to work in confined and tall spaces, walk, climb, utilize a ladder, operate a lift, bend, and stoop.
  • Repetitive gripping, pushing, and pulling.
  • Frequent overhead work.
  • Temperatures inside the plant may vary from -25 degrees to over 100 degrees; outside work may also be needed.
  • Basic math skills, including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
  • Willing and able to work overtime and weekends.
  • Willing and able to furnish your own tools.
  • Read and understand blueprints, manuals and work orders.
Work Schedule:

This work schedule will be from 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM on a rotating schedule. You will have every other weekend off with one day off through the following weekday.

We have 8 pay grade levels and this is determined by the hiring manager during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. You do have the opportunity to increase your pay level by testing your skills.
