About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Dental Care at The Fountains. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using advanced technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
  • Dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification, if required by the state dental practice act.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
