Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Temple, Texas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and protocols.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and areas for procedures by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, and setting exposure factors.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection control, and radiation policies.
Requirements
  • ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Ability to perform tasks alone without routine oversight and maintain a calm and helpful attitude under stress.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in radiation therapy procedures and patient care.
