About the Role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team in Temple, Texas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will perform radiation therapy procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality radiation therapy procedures according to established protocols.
  • Maintain production and quality of imaging procedures by following established standards and procedures.
  • Utilize AIDET when communicating with patients to ensure correct exams are performed and establish rapport.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring proper sterile techniques and hand hygiene.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection control, and radiation policies.
Requirements
  • ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude in high-pressure situations.
