Job Title: Security Manager

At Great Plains Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for providing leadership, direction, and oversight to our security staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all employees, customers, and visitors.
  • Ensure all active security stations are staffed and operating properly.
  • Make key decisions and ensure appropriate notifications occur in the event of notable incidents and/or emergencies.
  • Conduct inspections of security posts, identify and rectify deficiencies, and complete various reports and logs.
  • Serve as liaison with local services, including law enforcement, fire, and ambulance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior law enforcement, security, military, and/or training experience required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Completion of CPI training required.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand and/or walk constantly.
  • Lift 50 pounds floor to waist occasionally.
  • Climb ladder and/or 26 steps occasionally.
  • Bend frequently.
  • Eye-hand coordination within normal limits.
