Job Title: Heavy Equipment Manager Job Summary: Quality Enterprises USA is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Manager to oversee the use, maintenance, and operation of our fleet of heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment supervision and be able to manage a team of mechanics, technicians, and other roles. Key Responsibilities: * Manage department performance through coaching, ongoing feedback, and performance reviews * Review and approve invoices * Oversee safe equipment operation on all company job sites * Ensure compliance with manufacturer usage guidelines and company safety regulations * Track and log equipment use and associated operating costs * Advise the executive team on equipment issues and assist with equipment budgets * Allocate heavy equipment to job sites as needed * Ensure proper upkeep of equipment through routine preventative maintenance and repairs * Collaborate with the purchasing agent to develop best replacement practices and recommendations * Ensure compliance with applicable DOT, federal, state, and local safety laws and requirements Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, or related field preferred * Minimum of 5 years experience in heavy equipment supervision required * Valid Class E Florida driver license with acceptable driving record required * Solid understanding of heavy equipment lifecycle management * Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat required * High degree of technical aptitude required * Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory, and planning skills required Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: * Must be able to stand, walk, or sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl * Frequent visits to job sites requiring personal protective equipment * Exposure to outside weather conditions * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time * Noise level in the work environment ranges from moderate to loud * Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekends Equal Employment Opportunity: Quality Enterprises USA provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
