Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at our Minneapolis Uptown Dialysis Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording patient statistics, making observations, and setting up hemodialysis machines
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and social workers
- Develop strong relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
