The UNC Hospitals Rehabilitation Service Line is seeking a PRN Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with experienced physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with a range of diagnoses, including autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
Our pediatric caseloads include aquatic therapy, casting for orthotic management, wheelchair and equipment evaluations, dynamic body-weight support system, and functional electrical stimulation. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, and to develop your skills in interdisciplinary clinics.
We're looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills, who can coordinate patient care coverage with other disciplines within the UNC Healthcare System and academic institutions across the state. You'll also have the opportunity to provide clinical instruction to students within the clinic.
The selected candidate will work variable hours and flexible days, which may include Saturdays. As a PRN Physical Therapist, you'll be responsible for selecting and performing appropriate Physical Therapy (PT) evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems, and for managing resources needed to perform PT treatment plans to accomplish goals set for the patient.
