Job Summary

The Assistant Community Manager will assist in overseeing day-to-day operations at one of our apartment communities. This role involves effectively managing financial records, assisting with leasing and marketing, and maintaining good resident relations.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform marketing and leasing functions to maintain budgeted or greater occupancy for the property
  • Implement effective resident retention programs, such as move-in and service follow-up
  • Maintain good resident relations and respond to resident concerns to avoid escalation
  • Collect rents and make daily deposits and reconciliations monthly
  • Enforce rent collection policy
  • Process invoices
  • Monitor renewals and distribute and follow-up on renewal notices
  • Prepare paperwork for move-ins in a timely manner and in accordance with the properties' housing regulations and Roscoe's policies
  • Produce monthly reports for the Property Manager
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of tax credit experience
  • Related multi-family property management experience
  • HUD rules and regulations, as well as policies and procedures of low-income housing programs
  • Experience with OneSite software a plus
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • A current, valid Driver License is required
Work Environment:

This role is based on-site and requires spending time outside with exposure to the elements. May require working in confined spaces, heights, and potentially hazardous areas.
