Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is in search of a proactive and articulate individual to fill the role of Compliance Coordinator. This position is essential in ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards across our facilities. The successful candidate will manage the ESA database and provide training to staff regarding various regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct annual evaluations and inspections, maintaining comprehensive records and facilitating communication with corporate and regulatory bodies.
- Design, implement, and deliver annual compliance training sessions for plant personnel and new hires, covering topics such as OSHA, EPA, food safety, and internal policies. Collaborate with external organizations for additional training as required.
- Oversee employee and equipment monitoring to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Manage the ESA system, ensuring timely updates of tasks and proper documentation of incidents.
- Support the recruitment process and conduct random drug screenings.
- Participate in special projects and provide coverage for supervisory roles during absences.
- Engage in community and corporate meetings.
- Lead the safety committee by organizing meetings, discussing relevant topics, and developing solutions to safety issues.
- Enforce company policies and review operational procedures for compliance.
