Actuarial Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Leader to lead our pricing team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic insights to support business initiatives and goals. A deep understanding of actuarial science, regulatory requirements, and exceptional leadership skills are essential for success in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in actuarial science, with a proven track record of applying techniques and theories to drive business growth, profitability, and service excellence. You will be responsible for managing all pricing activities, developing and implementing pricing strategies, and communicating with business partners across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage all pricing activities, including forms/rules development and compliance & rate/rule/form filing.
  • Communicate and drive change with business partners across the organization.
  • Explore and develop new products and services in collaboration with leadership.

Qualifications:

  • ACAS or FCAS designation desired.
  • Sound actuarial skills gained from years of experience in a technical role.
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and interact with all levels of business professionals.
  • The desire to dive into business goals and begin making immediate contributions.
