Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at Applied Industrial Technologies. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in your territory
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet their business objectives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing and executing plans to win new customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of business-to-business sales experience or proven professional leadership skills
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
  • Basic word, Excel, and computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Must live in specified territory
  • Must have dependable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
  • Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude
  • Business-to-business outside sales experience
