About the Role

The IT Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving end-user issues, setting up and configuring hardware and software, and administering Active Directory and other cloud-based services. Excellent communication skills and a passion for technical puzzles are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues quickly to maximize billable time
  • Setup and configuration of physical hardware, virtual machines, servers, and mobile devices
  • Administer Active Directory, Google Apps, JumpCloud, Apple devices, Linux and Windows servers, and various other cloud-based services
  • Communicate effectively with end-users and other IT Technicians
  • Research, test, review, and document new tools, software, systems, and methods
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in a related field or equivalent educational experience
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for technical puzzles and problem-solving
Preferred Skills
  • Android, iOS, and Windows mobile operating systems
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of *nix systems
  • Experience with cloud-based directory and identity management tools
  • Knowledge of network security best practices
