LANGELS PLBG HTG A/C & PUMP SVC is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for performing all sales activities to benefit the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Create sales by visiting job sites to gather information and preparing quotations.
- Prepare and present quotes to customers.
- Complete sold and sales orders, special orders, and stock MRs.
- Maintain sales kit books, keeping prices current and items updated.
- Confer with operations supervisors on plan and spec and design build blueprints, spec books, and project scopes.
- Confer with project supervisors on the use of tools and equipment for projects.
- Work Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4:00pm, with the ability to work nights and beyond scheduled time to keep customers satisfied.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Three months related experience and/or training in sales/estimating.
- Experience in HVAC and Plumbing code and discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry related to the selling/servicing of Plumbing and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
