Quality Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities
This role involves demonstrating practical understanding of MSA Operations systems, coordinating project teams to drive improvements, and utilizing MSA Operating System tools (KPIs, problem solving tools, action trackers, etc.). Key responsibilities include:
- 1. Investigating and defining corrective and preventative actions pertaining to defective components, materials, and products using systemic problem-solving tools and quality control systems.
2. Leading coordinating efforts with strong collaboration on projects/assignments with awareness of budget and milestone goals.
3. Maintaining local quality certification documentation and audits.
4. Documenting, tracking, and providing corrective actions for quality opportunities from both internal and external sources.
5. Knowledge and experience with quality and problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Whys.
6. Solid written & oral English (daily contact with international suppliers).
7. Knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
8. Knowledge and experience in Quality Management Systems requirements.
9. Management and implementation of assigned PCR and CPR reports as related to both internal and external customers.
10.Participation in the development, implementation, and maintenance of process controls and reaction plans; perform routine process audits and reviews.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will require effective communication skills (both written and verbal), strong planning and organizing skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with frontline managers and associates. Additional preferred qualifications include an Engineering Degree (preferably in Industrial Engineering) and experience in a manufacturing environment.
About Compensation
We offer a competitive yearly salary range of $80,499 to $106,233 based on your location and experience. This role is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and professional development within our organization.
