Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider - Endoscopy

OU Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our Endoscopy Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the advancement of our organization's educational and research missions.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients with acute and chronic health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care principles.
  • Collaborate with administrative, nursing, and physician teams to ensure safe, effective, and quality patient care.
  • Participate in research opportunities to advance patient care and treatment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to facilitate consistent, coordinated care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Professional Nursing (MSN) or Master's in Physician Assistant Services.
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a designated specialty.
  • Active RN and APRN license in the State of Oklahoma (for APRNs) or Active PA license in the State of Oklahoma (for PAs).
  • Prescriptive authority within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to obtain required licensure from the State of Oklahoma within 30 days after the offer of employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Acute Care Certification by the ANCC and/or the AANP (for APRNs).
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
  • CPR certification and Advanced Life Support certifications if relevant to practice area.
