Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in patient care.
- Verify patient medication records and maintain accurate and complete records.
- Compound non-sterile pharmaceuticals and provide services in a timely and efficient manner.
- Issue controlled substances to patient care areas and maintain records as required by law and institutional policies.
- Verify daily activities and maintain records of departmental tasks.
- Maintain current technician license and ensure applicable CE records and licensure are up-to-date.
- Attend staff meetings and complete competency/skills assessment requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pharmacy experience preferred.
- Registered Pharmacy technician in the State of practice required.
- Certified pharmacy technician preferred.
