Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging and Scanning Specialist to join our team at Ricoh Americas Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment, and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of your work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-volume duplicating, production, sorting, mailing, or bindery equipment to produce high-quality documents and materials.
  • Perform associated copying tasks, including scanning, imaging, and binding.
  • Ship and receive products and supplies, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Sort, distribute, and handle incoming and outgoing mail and faxes, applying necessary postage.
  • Provide copier maintenance and repair services to customer site equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Perform bindery, quality control, and final check tasks to ensure high-quality output.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of copier and related equipment, including repair and maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum levels of auto insurance coverage (if required).
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, and changes in room temperature. You may be exposed to paper cuts from handling paper and opening boxes. You will make daily telephone/in-person contact with customers, employees, managers, and/or Dispatch Department, and occasional telephone contact with vendors and equipment repair people. Some physical effort is required, including long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, or similar activities, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 lbs. and pushing or pulling machines on wheels, which may weigh up to 400 lbs.
