Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing care for infants in the nursery and for mothers in the postpartum unit.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain standards of professional practice, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- 2 years of previous clinical experience in neonatal ICU and obstetrical nursing.
- Registered Nurse - CA State Licensure - RN.
- Basic Life Support Certification - BLS.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider - NRP.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying and unpredictable situations. The successful candidate will be able to handle emergency or crisis situations and work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
