Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team at Troy Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on plant or office facilities, as well as machines and equipment.
About the RoleThis is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. As an Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist, you will use hand and power tools to perform routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance
You will inspect, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and machinery to ensure they are always in proper working order. This includes testing and observing equipment and machinery using tools such as voltmeters and other testing devices to diagnose malfunctions and make repairs as needed.
Maintenance and Repair ServicesYou will record all maintenance and repair services performed, and keep track of all materials and parts used during the repair process. Additionally, you will order or request orders to be placed to replenish materials and parts when inventory grows low or is depleted.
Manufacturing ProcessesYou will study manufacturer manuals and blueprints and carefully follow directions when operating or setting up newly-acquired machinery. You will also cut and weld metal pieces together as needed to fabricate new parts, assemble equipment or repair broken parts as needed.
Teamwork and CommunicationYou will work closely with other members of our team to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional customer service. Strong verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Requirements- Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Five or more years of experience as an industrial mechanic is preferred.
Physical DemandsYou must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance on a regular basis.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
