Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Industrial Maintenance Lead to join our team at Electrical Automation Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of complex machinery and equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing plant environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Direct and supervise workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Workforce Management: Supervise work assignments and personnel performance of staff technicians; hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff members.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
  • Installation and Disassembly: Direct workers engaged in dismantling, assembling, and installing industrial machinery.
  • Spare Parts Management: Requisition and maintain a supply of spare parts.
  • Robotics Programming: Modify programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.
  • Production Planning: Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments.
  • Safety Enforcement: Interpret company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations.
  • Task Assignment: Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties accordingly.
  • Process Improvement: Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
  • Safe Workplace: Enforce a safe workplace by supervising all tasks performed in accordance with O.S.H.A., E.P.A., F.D.A., Food Safety, Lock-out/Tag-out safety rules, codes policies, and regulations, and Confined Entry policies.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motor control, VFDs, and PLCs.
  • Additional mechanical, welding, refrigeration, and plumbing knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating system, MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook), Crystal Report Writer, and Internet software.
Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $ $80,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
