We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our department as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of American Politics. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching, and will contribute to the department\u2019s mission to enhance its research profile, particularly in areas related to indigeneity, race and ethnicity, and law.

The University of Tulsa is a small, private university with a strong commitment to liberal arts education. Our department is methodologically pluralist, and we anticipate hiring a candidate who conducts research with, and is willing to teach, quantitative research methods.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, a demonstrated record of excellent teaching at the university level, and an active research program with promise of high-impact publication and external grant and fellowship funding.
