We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Yamhill County, OR. As a key member of our Community Support Services (CSS) programs, you will work closely with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses, many of whom have co-occurring substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, person-centered services and supports to program participants in the community.
- Deliver skills training and supports to assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining employment.
- Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver comprehensive services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field AND at least one year of experience in a setting relevant to the duties and skills noted above required.
- Within 1 year of hire, may need to meet, or have the ability to meet the qualifications of CADC to work in chemical dependency program and/or meet the QMHA requirement in the mental health program.
- CADC certification preferred.
- Successful background check will be required.
