We are seeking a qualified Personal Injury Paralegal to support our legal team specializing in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in a personal injury law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents, including affidavits and correspondence for attorneys.
- Maintaining organized filing systems, both paper and electronic.
- Collaborating with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss case specifics.
- Submitting legal pleadings to the court clerk.
- Assisting in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and other necessary tasks.
- Reviewing demands and summarizing case charts.
- Conducting investigations into case facts and applicable laws, as well as searching public records.
- Reviewing discovery responses and preparing motions to compel.
- Managing discovery materials, including exhibits.
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency is required.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of overtime.
This is a long-term position that has the potential to evolve into a full-time role. Compensation ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience.
