About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Cisco Systems. As a key member of our Mixed Signal Design team, you will be responsible for designing high-speed analog circuits and leading the development of complex IC designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in the definition and implementation of large-scale block on a complex chip
  • Mentor team members and track deliverables, participate in peer review of complex IC designs
  • Provide expert advice on design methodology from conception to production
  • Contribute to Cisco research initiatives and work with cross-functional groups to define future strategies
Requirements

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer with a strong background in high-speed analog circuit design. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE degree with 15+ years of experience or equivalent, and prior knowledge in top-down design approach.

Extensive experience in design, simulation, and measurement of high-speed ICs in areas such as high-speed serial links, voltage regulators, high-performance output drivers, and phase-locked loops is required. Prior experience with software tools such as Cadence (Virtuoso), Spectre/APS/SpectreX, and layout validation and post-layout extraction tools is also necessary.
