**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic - Rotor Wing to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rotor wing aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications to airframes, rotors, and appliances.
- Support the daily maintenance of the Airbus EC135, EC145 series aircraft at our base.
- Collaborate with our maintenance team to maintain our helicopters to the highest standards possible.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our aircraft systems and components.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required (A&P)
- Inspection Authorization Certification preferred
- Additional FAA/FCC ratings preferred
- Three years of turbine helicopter maintenance experience with a minimum of six months helicopter maintenance experience during the last 24 months
- Ability to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Intermediate-level computer skills with an inventory system
- IFR helicopter avionics and auto-pilot experience preferred
- Manufacturer training or equivalent on Airbus EC135 and EC145 preferred
- Airbus helicopter (EC135 or EC145) maintenance experience required
- Prior civilian HEMS experience preferred
