Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Pediatric Oncology program. This is a critical role that requires advanced knowledge and skills in clinical research, project management, and leadership. You will work closely with our Principal Investigator, Director, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials and research studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, including protocol development, IRB submissions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to lower-level research coordinators and support personnel.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet study enrollment goals.
  • Collaborate with investigators, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure successful study execution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and NIH regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • Ability to obtain certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates or the Association of Clinical Research Professionals within one year of date of hire.
  • Proven experience in clinical research, project management, and leadership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
