Job Summary

The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Research Coordinator to join our Head and Neck Oncology Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional support to our investigators and research staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage clinical research studies, including protocol development, subject recruitment, and data management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and UCSF policies.
  • Provide exceptional support to investigators and research staff, including training and education on research protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of research studies.
  • Develop and maintain research databases and reports to track study progress and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • HS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilities.
  • Certification by the Society of Clinical Research Associates or Association of Clinical Research Professionals, or ability to obtain certification within one year of date of hire.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment strategies in complex environments and differing patient pools.
  • In-depth knowledge of clinical research contracts and grants, clinical trials, protocols, FDA regulations, and complex visit structures.
  • Project management skills to oversee the administrative operations of the clinical trials program.
