We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team at Cortica, a leading provider of advanced neurological therapies for children with autism and other developmental differences.

Compensation: $23.64 - $31.72 per hour

Job Description

As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct implementation of behavior-analytic services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in both 1:1 and group settings. You will work closely with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement positive behavior strategies tailored to each child's needs.

  • Implement antecedent and consequence strategies based on developed treatment plans and strategies with the BCBA.
  • Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, clinics, or other designated areas, providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan.
  • Fulfill all documentation requirements, including data collection of strategies and goals, and completion of session notes during the session.
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma/GED or higher degree in human services or a related field.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral intervention or ABA therapy setting.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early and late afternoons, and occasional Saturdays.
  • CURRENTLY A Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) or willingness to obtain the BCAT credential via Cortica's paid training program within the first 45 days of employment.
