We are currently hiring a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to provide Play-Based ABA Therapy to our families in the home, community, school, or clinic in Warren, New Jersey, and surrounding areas.

Job Description:

The Behavioral Intervention Specialist will work directly with children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in both 1:1 and group settings, implementing positive behavior strategies as developed and analyzed with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This includes providing direct implementation of behavior-analytic services, implementing antecedent and consequence strategies based on developed treatment plans and strategies with their BCBA, and working in various settings such as the home, community, school, or clinic.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have experience working with children, including Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, and Behavior Technician.
  • You love to play.
  • You have a High School Diploma/GED, bachelor's degree in human services (or related), or master's degree.
  • You possess a valid Driver's License (within the state you are working) and reliable transportation.
  • You are available in the early and late afternoons (maybe an occasional Saturday).
  • You are currently a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) or are willing to obtain the BCAT credential via Cortica's paid training program within your first 45 days of employment.
