Cortica is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Interventionist to join its multidisciplinary treatment team in Warren, NJ and surrounding areas.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will provide direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism, working closely with a team of professionals to deliver effective treatment methods.
Key Responsibilities- Attend Cortica's orientation and complete Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training
- Implement positive behavior strategies developed and analyzed with the Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work in various settings, including homes, communities, schools, clinics, or other designated locations, providing direct behavior-analytic care as determined in the child's assessment and treatment plan
- Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes
- Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection
- Collaborate with families and supervisors to establish an environment supportive of treatment and education across all settings of care
- Experience working with children, preferably those with autism
- Bachelor's degree in a human service field; candidates with relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered
- Current Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) or Board-Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) certification; willingness to obtain BCAT credential via Cortica's training program within 45 days
- Availability to work varying schedules, including some evenings and late afternoons
- Valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in software systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products
The estimated salary range for this position is $23.64 to $31.72 per hour, depending on relevant experience, education level, and location.
