Job Summary: The Event Catering Server is responsible for delivering and serving food at various functions under the guidance of the catering supervisor. This role ensures that all events are executed flawlessly during the shift. Responsibilities may include operating a catering delivery vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and deliver all food and supplies to designated locations for catered events.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
  • Set up tables and decorations according to event specifications.
  • Prepare buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items following established standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Thoroughly clean the venue after the event concludes.
  • Return leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
  • Collect customer feedback through comment cards during catered functions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering facility and equipment.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests at all times.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the menu and available products.
  • Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment by adhering to safety and sanitation policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be required; must possess or be able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as mandated by state law.
