Vascular Procedural RN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Procedural RN to join our team at Nuvance Health in Danbury, CT. As a Vascular Procedural RN, you will provide professional care and assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand patient monitoring, monitoring equipment, and emergency equipment.
  • Administer medications in a safe and proper manner, including all aspects of moderate sedation preparation, administration, evaluation, and complications management.
  • Recognize and react appropriately to life-threatening arrhythmias from the cardiac monitor.
  • Operate and troubleshoot the pulsimeter, maintain the Non-invasive Blood Pressure unit, Defibrillator/cardiac monitor, and perform monitoring and/or quality control procedures.
  • Maintain all forms of Point of Care Testing equipment and perform testing and/or quality control measures.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Work Environment:

This is a Per Diem position with 8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut.
  • Experience in vascular procedural nursing or a related field.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
