We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join our team at Carter Machinery Company, Inc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with heavy equipment and components in a shop environment.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with heavy construction equipment and work tool repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery occasionally.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficient in computer software and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Promote a positive customer experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 70 pounds.
  • Repeated reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
  • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
