Ready to propel your career forward? As a Diesel Maintenance Specialist at Penske, you'll be responsible for performing comprehensive maintenance and repairs on our cutting-edge fleet of vehicles. You will help our customers keep their equipment in top shape and on the road.

This is a key role where you will work independently, using your expertise to diagnose complex problems and complete major and minor repairs. You'll also perform routine maintenance tasks, including preventive services, to ensure our vehicles are safe and reliable. Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring they're safe and reliable for our customers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
  • Diagnose complex problems using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to achieve common goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics preferred
  • ASE certification and specialized training in diesel engine repair and diagnosis a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
