Job Summary

Lund is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Shift Supervisor to join our Residential Treatment Program team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 24-hour facility, providing supervision and support to Residential Counselors, and fostering a safe and therapeutic environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement residential programming, including milieu management and crisis intervention.
  • Supervise Residential Counselors, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Assist with initial orientation of new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into the program.
  • Develop and implement day plans for primary residents, promoting socialization skills, house chores, and personal hygiene.
  • Provide supervision, feedback, and assessment of residents, including those caring for their children.
  • Oversee the physical safety of the facility, reporting concerns and problems as necessary.
  • Manage hiring and onboarding process for new Residential Counselors and Substitute Residential Counselors.
  • Provide orientation for new staff members, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of program policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human services-related field with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and demands, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assist with childcare, including lifting infants and toddlers.
  • Demonstrate creativity, initiative, and a non-judgmental attitude towards reproductive choice, parenting options, and substance-abusing clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, operate with excellent judgment, and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, families, and other departments.
