Key Responsibilities- Assess patient readiness for treatment and link them to care
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to communicate with patients in a respectful and non-judgmental manner
- Maintain up-to-date information about substance use disorders and treatment options
- Provide liaison services to Addiction Medicine and outpatient clinics
- Communicate effectively with care team members to ensure seamless transitions of care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of substance use disorders and medication-assisted treatment
- Nonjudgmental and culturally competent approach to assisting patients
- Respect for patient confidentiality and privacy
- Healthcare experience and proficiency in medical terminology
