Job Summary

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician at Froedtert Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper functioning of medical equipment. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, you will assist in the installation, calibration, inspection, and repair of patient care equipment, including patient monitoring, surgical devices, and infusion devices.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, calibration, and inspection of medical equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair of medical equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly
  • Document equipment maintenance and repair activities
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency equipment repairs
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Biomedical or Electrical Technology or equivalent military training
  • 3 years of related experience in medical equipment repair and maintenance
  • Familiarity with medical technology and specialized training in medical technology service and support
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
