Job Overview: The Site Operations Manager is accountable for the comprehensive oversight of the project site, ensuring seamless coordination with the General Contractor. This role involves effective interaction with Sub-Contractors, Architects, Engineers, and various Park Operating Departments, including Operations, Security, and Food Services. The Site Operations Manager ensures that all work performed by Contractors adheres to the established drawings and specifications, employing sound construction practices and high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall job site efficiency, cleanliness, and productivity.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the construction site and the corporate office.
  • Resolve conflicts in structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings by collaborating with the internal team and General Contractor.
  • Monitor contractor schedules and enforce quality control to ensure compliance with engineering standards and design documents.
  • Coordinate necessary inspections with the General Contractor and relevant authorities.
  • Review project schedules and ensure contractors are adhering to timelines, reporting discrepancies to the Project Management Team.
  • Maintain accurate records of contractor activities, including significant project milestones and daily reports.
  • Collaborate with Facility Design Managers to provide clarity on plans and specifications to contractors.
  • Work closely with safety representatives to uphold a secure job site.
  • Verify and report accurate labor quantities and monitor material sufficiency for project completion.
  • Participate actively in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities, following established policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Site Operations Manager or 5-7 years as a Journeyman in a construction trade.
  • Strong understanding of local and regional building codes and ordinances.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and contractors simultaneously.
  • Experience in managing Tenant Improvement, Ground-up, and Technology projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in schedule management and timely project delivery.
  • Previous experience with turnkey projects, particularly in the theme park or entertainment sector, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Facility Life/Safety Systems and equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
