Job Summary

The Landings Golf and Athletic Club is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Golf Performance Center Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our golf operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and their guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Golf Performance Center manager in maintaining a professional presence in the Golf Performance Center.
  • Perform administrative duties, including scheduling, billing, and coordinating golf coaching sessions, club fitting, and special events.
  • Greet and assist members and their guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Compose reports, including weekly, monthly, and annual summaries.
  • Maintain up-to-date information regarding all Performance Center offerings.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of special events and programming.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures of the Golf Performance Center.
  • Answer incoming inquiries via telephone or email.
  • Complete transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Receive and display golf shop merchandise.
  • Enter and code all invoices.
  • Ensure levels of inventory are maintained.
  • Place merchandise orders as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the golf shop as needed.
  • Ensure all W.E.L.L. standards are followed as appropriate.
  • Perform job responsibilities according to the company safety and training programs.
  • Report safety or hazard concerns and any job injury to management.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned within job scope.
Requirements
  • Computer experience and POS knowledge preferred.
  • Golf knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and public relations skills required.
  • Ability to meet and greet members and their guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
  • Flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in an environment that requires travel to various locations on campus by approved means.
  • Ability to stand throughout duration of shift.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
