Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach courses in Data Science and Computing at DePaul University's Jarvis College of Computing & Digital Media. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Data Science and Analytics, with experience in teaching and mentoring students in a diverse learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Data Science and Computing, including Data Visualization, Multivariate Statistics, Time Series Analysis, Predictive Modeling, and Machine Learning.
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 18 semester/27 quarter hours of graduate work in Data Science or a related field.
  • Undergraduate degree with a minimum of five years demonstrated relevant professional experience in Data Science.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Data Science or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching Data Science courses at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Strong background in Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization.
