Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication as directed in our Medication Administration policies and procedures manual.
  • Perform vital signs, give enemas and suppositories, and follow universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures.
  • Document and report any medication errors immediately.
  • Count controlled substance medications and follow proper sign-in, sign-off procedures.

Requirements:

  • Registered on the NA1 registry with no allegations of abuse or neglect.
  • Successfully complete our state-approved training program, including competency evaluation and facility orientation.
  • Ability to read, see, hear, and speak adequately to perform essential job responsibilities.
  • Ability to crouch, stand, bend, stoop, and walk intermittently during the workday.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly or at least 10 times per shift.
