Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medications, and treatments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure clear understanding of patient care plans and progress.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in California.
  • 1 year of recent experience in critical care or successful completion of a KP Critical Care course.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
