Overview

At SCA Health, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our PreOp PACU department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our patients throughout their surgical journey.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients preoperative and postoperative status to identify potential risks and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to promote patient safety and comfort, including pain management and wound care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to drive excellence in patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • One year of experience in preoperative or PACU nursing.
  • Current state licensure to practice nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (if applicable).
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $27.07 to $48.22 per hour, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
