  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations through auditing of in-process manufacturing controls.
  • Inspect, test, and document inbound raw material receipt to guarantee quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct preventive controls inspections and document root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations.
  • Support company and site safety policies, promoting safe working practices and leading observations to enhance working conditions.
  • Develop and lead group trainings as required.
  • Ensure effective communication with the team during shifts, between shifts, and with other department resources.
  • Provide on-the-floor support for operators during production and sanitation.
  • Complete shift and end-of-shift reports as needed.
  • Manage the "audit-ready" program as assigned.
Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairways.
  • Constant walking, bending, twisting, and carrying of products throughout the facility.
  • Ability to work on elevated surfaces, maneuver, and climb ladders and rail cars.
  • Ability to be trained and qualified to use fall protection equipment while performing rail car sampling.
Education and Experience
  • Associate's degree.
  • Two years of manufacturing experience, with food manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Successful candidate required to have flexibility to work alternate shifts, holidays, and weekends which are required per the production schedule.
  • Must be able to comprehend and follow documents such as safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and general instructions.
  • Knowledge of GFSI, BRC, and FSMA requirements is a plus.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, primarily 2nd and 3rd.
