Sodexo is in search of an Accountant to join the Financial Shared Service Corporate Staff. We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating duplicate payments.
  • Facilitate the special processing of outgoing checks.
  • Investigate and process incoming vendor or employee refund checks.
  • Resolve electronic invoicing discrepancies to ensure prompt payments and reduce late fees.
  • Provide training and support on systems and processes to departmental staff and business service partners.
  • Engage in the financial closing process, including journal entry preparation and monitoring accounts payable activities.
  • Participate in financial audits and supplier compliance assessments.
  • Generate and present reports on accounts payable activities for management review and upon request.
  • Maintain and revise departmental procedural documentation.
  • Offer accounting support and guidance on company policies to business operators and internal accounting teams.
  • Perform various administrative tasks such as mail handling and document scanning.
  • Contribute to corporate, segment, and departmental projects.
