Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Staten Island Care Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department and ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in evaluating and directing the functions of the nursing department.
  • Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
  • Participate in facility surveys and inspections as requested by the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing.
  • Make daily rounds of the nursing services department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
Requirements
  • Valid RN License in the State of New York.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing in Long Term Care with managerial experience.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • COVID-19 vaccination.
