**Job Summary**

As a Patient Account Liaison at Northwell Health, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate billing of physician practices. Your primary responsibility will be to interface with physicians and administrators to drive financial growth and stability.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Monitor the accuracy of fee structures and reimbursement payment schedules from third-party payers, cash payment deposits, and refunds.
  • Resolve complex billing situations and provide guidance to billing/clerical staff on billing and office/clerical functions.
  • Carry out clinical documentation requests to the business office to ensure timely appeals.
  • Implement policies and procedures to facilitate billing and maximize case collections.
  • Perform related duties as required.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience required.
